When a price is lowered by mistake or a product runs out, the store's own screens show only the current number. Price & Stock History keeps a price history and a stock history for each product and variant, recorded as the changes happen, which can help trace what happened. The dashboard page draws price and stock for a variant on one timeline and lists each change: what it was, what it became, and when. Where the platform reports it, the list also says whether a store user, an order or another app made the change. The list can be narrowed by text, type, source and date. If an update was missed, a manual check compares the store with the last recorded numbers. History begins when the app is installed. The free plan shows the last 30 days for the 20 most recently changed products. Older records are kept rather than deleted. The Pro plan adds history beyond 30 days, all products, CSV export and a flag on price moves of 20% or more. The app reads products and inventory only. It does not read customers, orders or payments.
